Compassionate Care Partners (“CCP”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This notice explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and why we collect it. We respect your rights regarding your personal information. You have the right to access the information we hold about you, request corrections if it is inaccurate, or ask that it be deleted. 

CCP only collects personal information that is adequate, relevant, and not excessive for the purposes for which it is collected. We retain this information only for as long as necessary to fulfill those purposes. We also take reasonable steps to ensure that the information we hold is accurate and kept up to date.

CCP collects and uses personal information to provide support to the patients of Agape House, their families, and their caregivers. This information helps us deliver compassionate, appropriate, and personalized care.

 Information We Use for Communication and Marketing 

CCP may use certain personal information to keep you informed about our services, events, and opportunities to support our work. This includes service updates, marketing communications, and general outreach.

 CCP collects personal information to support recruitment, onboarding, and employment-related processes. This allows us to assess candidates fairly, meet legal requirements, and manage employment appropriately.

CCP collects personal information from volunteers to support their involvement in our programs, ensure a safe environment, and meet legal and organizational requirements. 

 The types of information we may collect and use for these purposes include:

  • Email address(es) and phone number(s) 
  • Date of birth 
  • Police check (includes copies of passports or other photo ID) 
  • Training completed if applicable 

Volunteer information is treated with the same level of care and confidentiality as all personal data held. 

CCP collects personal information from board members and records the proceedings of formal board member meetings to support their participation on the board and ensure compliance with organizational requirements. 

The types of information we may collect and use for these purposes include: 

  • Full name 
  • Address 
  • Email address(es) and phone number(s) 
  • Date of birth 
  • Police check (includes copies of passports or other photo ID) 
  • Resumes / CVs 
  • Training completed if applicable 
  • Any additional information required by KYC / AML specifications 

Board member information is treated with the same level of care and confidentiality as all personal data held. 

 CCP collects personal information from donors and supporters of our fundraising efforts to process donations, maintain accurate records, communicate impact, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.  

The types of information we may collect and use for these purposes include:  

  • Full name 
  • Address 
  • Email address(es) and phone number(s) 
  • Donation history and payment method 
  • Communication and recognition preferences 

CCP may also collect limited personal information regarding potential donors to help us understand philanthropic interests and identify individuals who may have the capacity to support our work, enabling us to determine appropriate and relevant fundraising approaches. The information we collect about potential donors comes from publicly available sources and referrals. The types of information we may collect and use for these purposes include:  

  • Name and contact details 
  • Professional information (e.g. title, employer) 
  • Publicly available information about philanthropic interests or capacity 

Third-Party IT Providers 

CCP uses trusted third-party software and service providers to help process and manage personal information, such as client and donor records. These providers are carefully selected and must comply with CCP’s privacy, confidentiality, and data protection standards.

The CCP website collects personal information only when you voluntarily provide it, for example, when you register for events, volunteer, donate, or engage in other activities. The information you submit is used solely for the purpose for which it was provided, unless otherwise stated.
